Shooting at Whispering Oaks Apartments Tragically Kills 15-Year-Old Child
The Brunswick Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Whispering Oaks Apartments in Medina County. According to reports, officers responded to a call about multiple gunshots.
Upon arrival, they found a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds on the property. Law enforcement administered emergency medical aid before the victim was airlifted to the nearest hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim’s current condition remains unknown.
Now, the owners of the Brunswick apartment complex could face civil liability under Georgia’s negligent security laws.
